Elite Ladies is Oregon's ministry to the widows of credentialed ministers. We maintain a list of these precious ladies that is available to local women's groups who would like to personally minister to them. Our office remembers these ladies with letters, cards or gifts on their birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day, Independence Day, and various other times. We provide a breakfast in their honor during Network Conference every spring, and a very special luncheon during Family Camp every summer. We also keep them on our mailing list so they continue to receive newsletters and all communication that goes out to pastor's wives. This ministry is primarily funded through a special offering once a year at the Oregon RefresHer Women's Conference. Donations to the Elite Ladies Ministry are always accepted through the OMN office. Introducing new Elite Ladies Coordinator, Dixie PollockI would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you a very special lady, who has graciously accepted the position of ministering to you as the Elite Ladies Coordinator. Dixie Pollock and her husband, Harold, have served in ministry for many years. Currently, the Pollocks serve on the staff of Portland Christian Center as Congregational Care and Active Adults Pastors. Before Portland Christian Center, they pastored Hillsboro First Assembly of God for 15 years. Dixie has been active in missionettes and women's ministries. She enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, entertaining, gardening, and most of all spending time with her 5 grandchildren who are the delight of her life. Please feel free to contact Dixie by mail or phone at anytime. She has a heart of compassion and will pray and encourage you if desired.
